Cub Family Camp

Erie Shores Council with leadership from Northwest and Swan Creek Districts are happy to bring our Cub Scout Packs a fun and exciting Cub Family Camp in September! This will be a great opportunity for your pack to come to Camp Miakonda and have a camping weekend with provided program along with an opportunity for your pack to have unit level program as well! This year's theme will be Cub Carnival!

Activities being planned include but not limited to:

  • BB Guns
  • Archery
  • Outdoor Cooking
  • Nature Hikes
  • Campfire Program
  • Cracker Barrel

Registration Fees includes all meals (3), a unique event patch, and program supplies:

$20 per person by September 22

$25 per person after September 22 or at the event

Cub Scout Packs will need to reserve a cabin, campsite or Adirondack in addition to event registration. All lodging reservations for cabins, campsites, and Adirondacks must be made by email directly to Ellen Watkins at Ellen.Watkins@scouting.org. Loding reservations must be submitted by September 15, 2023.

Volunteers are needed to help with activities along with meal preparation and serving.

Packing List:

  • Tent unless cabin camping
  • Camp chair
  • Sleeping bag and pillow
  • Water bottle
  • Towel(s)
  • Flashlight
  • CLOSED TOE shoes (necessary to be on ranges)
  • Sunscreen (non-aerosol containers)
  • Insect repellant (non-aerosol containers)
  • Clothing suitable for the weather
  • Toiletries
  • Other personal items as needed
