Join thousands of Scouts at the 2026 National Jamboree, held at The Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia! Ziplines, kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and bouldering are just a few of the activities offered at the Summit. There's also skateboarding, BMX, shooting sports, canopy tours, and challenge courses – and that's just the beginning!

Youth participants will enjoy these exciting activities, along with spectacular shows, patch trading, and the chance to meet Scouts from across the country. In addition to all the fun, the Jamboree fosters lasting friendships and unforgettable memories that participants will talk about for the rest of their lives.

Council Contingent

Anthony Wayne Area, Black Swamp Area, and Erie Shores Councils will send multiple Troops to the Jamboree, each supported by an experienced and skilled team of Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters. The Council plans to send Troops for both young men and young women.

Who Can Attend

Currently registered Scouts BSA youth members (male and female) who meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 12 years old by July 22, 2026.
  • Not have reached their 18th birthday by July 31, 2026.
  • Venture Scouts under the age of 18 must register as a Scouts BSA member before registering for the Council Contingent.
  • Venture youth over the age of 18 and Scouts BSA youth adults (age 18-20) should consider serving on Jamboree staff. More information can be found at the 2026 National Jamboree website.

Adult Participation

Adult leadership is specifically selected by the Jamboree Committee based on experience and leadership skills. Interviews for Jamboree Contingent leadership (Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters) will be held May 1, 2025. Interested adults should complete the Jamboree Leadership Questionnaire.  Adults should not register with the council contingent unless selected and approved by the Jamboree Committee.

Tentative Itinerary

  • July 22, 2026 – Depart Camp Berry, Findlay, Ohio, via charter buses
  • July 22 to July 31, 2026 – Jamboree Program at Summit Bechtel Reserve
  • July 31, 2026 – Return to Camp Berry

Fees and Deadlines (youth and adult fees are the same)

  • $2,450 if registered by October 31, 2025
  • $2,700 per person thereafter

The fee includes Jamboree participation, transportation to and from The Summit, meals during travel to and from the Jamboree, personal Jamboree duffel, special patches, Patrol and Troop equipment, and a Jamboree training weekend.

Payment Schedule

  • $250 – Non-refundable deposit at time of registration
  • $500 – May 30, 2025
  • $550 – August 29, 2025
  • $550 – November 28, 2025
  • $600 – February 27, 2026**

Subsequent payments are non-refundable unless the contingent is full, the individual slot is reassigned to a wait-listed youth, and all fees are paid in full by the replacement participant.

**For those registering after October 31, 2025, an additional $250 due will be due with the final payment in February 2026.
