Swan Creek District Winter Weekend, February 10-12, 2023 at Camp Miakonda.

New this year, units are requested to host a station related to fire and the winter time. This could be the biggest fire, quickest fire, a fire that requires a particular Scouting skills such a bowsaw or flint and steel, or using specific equipment such as a lightweight camp stove. Or it could be doing something useful with fire, such as cooking delicious trailside treats. Dowload the Winter Weekend Station List to signup your unit for a station. Scouts will vote on their favorite station and that unit will win the Great Swan Creek District Spirit Drum!

This is a Webelos/AOL friendly event. They will attend with a troop. If a Webelos/AOL is not associated with a troop, our event chairman can pair them with a troop for the weekend. 

Cabin reservations for Scouts BSA Troops and Venturing Crews will be handled by contacting Swan Creek District Field Director Viki Rosengarten. 

Registration fees are $8 per person which includes the program activities and an event patch.  Scouts BSA Troops and Venture crews are asked to provide their best estimate of attendees no later than Friday February 3, 2023 using this regisration link.  https://forms.gle/75DtYVwTT1unZ3p46 (copy this link and paste it in a browser.)
