Camp Staff Opportunities
Camp Miakonda – Cub Day Camp
Camp Miakonda is a camp offering a weeklong day camp summer programs to youth ages 6-10. Our 160-acre camp is located in Toledo, Ohio, and offers opportunities for youth to experience swimming, fishing, shooting sports, nature and wildlife education, and BMX biking to name a few.
Applications are accepted for individuals 15 years of age or older. Youth aged 14 may apply to serve as a Counselor-in-Training. Director and management level positions are available for applicants 18 years of age and older. Seasonal salaries for a first-year staff member start at $750 for the summer and are adjusted up based on age and experience. Area directors and leadership roles start at $900 and up.
The camp season runs from June 5 through July 14.

Camp Frontier - Scouts BSA Resident Camp
Camp Frontier – Pioneer Scout Reservation is a Scouts BSA resident camp offering summer programs to youth ages 10-17. Our 1,100-acre camp is located in Pioneer, Ohio, and boasts activities such as camping, swimming, boating, hiking, shooting sports, ecology, environmental sciences, astronomy, biking, ATV riding, climbing, crafts, and much more!
Salary, meals, and on-site housing are provided for all staff. Applications are accepted for individuals 15 years of age or older. Director and management level positions are available for applicants 18 years of age and older. Seasonal salaries for a first-year staff member start at $2,000 for the summer and are adjusted up based on age and experience. Area directors and leadership roles start at $2,900 and up.
The camp season begins June 7th, and the last day of camp is August 5th.
