Fallen Timbers District

Overview

Fallen Timbers District is made up of over 62 great Scouting units. These include Cub Scout Packs (Kindergarten through 5th grade), Scout America Troops (ages 11-17), Venturing Crews (ages 14-20 for those who want more adventure and activity), and Exploring Posts (ages 14-20 with a focus on career preparation in different fields). They are always welcoming new members. 

Why Should You Join Scouting in Our Area?

The mission of the Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

Scout Oath: On my honor, I will do my best. To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Scout Law: A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.

Scouting America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. Scouting America provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating in citizenship, and develops personal fitness. We pride ourselves on the youth that participate in our community and feel that they help make Northwest Ohio a better place.

District Meetings

Come and join us at the monthly round table meeting to learn more about the Scouting program in our area and interact with local Scout leaders. Meetings are to be determined.
