Wood Winter Weekend • Feb 3-5 • Camp Miakonda • 60 Scouts from 11 Troops had a full weekend of winter activities.
Northwest Klondike Derby • Feb 17-19 • Camp Miakonda • 163 Scouts raced in an Old West-themed event.
Eagle Bay Spring Camporee • Apr 28 • Operators Union • 100 Scouts learned about careers in Skilled Trades.
Commodore Perry Fall Camporee • Sep 8-10 • Pearson Metro Park • 100 Scouts enjoyed activities on Scouting Skills.
Swan Creek Fall Camporee • Oct 13-15 • 180th Fighter Wing Air National Guard • 268 Scouts and Leaders explored the hangar and learned about military-level emergency preparedness.
Wood Fall Camporee • Oct 13-15 • North Baltimore Village Park • 45 Scouts from 9 Troops participated in the Frontiersman-themed event.
Northwest Winter Weekend • Dec 1-3 • Camp Miakonda • A Lumberjack-themed event with 153 Scouts and 62 adults participating.

*Camp Frontier Summer Camp • Jun-Aug • 2,049 Scouts, 748 Adults, 174 Troops, and 6,653 Merit Badges Earned.*
*Community Partner Attendees at Cub Day Camp • Jun-Jul • Camp Miakonda • 175 youth attended for outdoor learning.*
*White Star Cub Day Camp • Aug 2-4 • White Star Park • 137 participants enjoyed outdoor adventures.*
Community Engagement
*Camp Miakonda School Programs • May-Nov • 963 total participants from elementary, middle school, high school, and university groups.*
*Cub Scout Adventure Day • Sep 23 • Camp Miakonda • 585 guests attended and experienced adventure, teambuilding and fun at Camp.*
*Halloween Party • Oct 22-21 • Camp Miakonda • Over 1,500 guests and 300 volunteers enjoyed spooky adventures and trick-or-treating.*
*Service Hours Completed - Erie Shores Council Scouts completed over 27,940 community service hours.*
*Financial Assistance & Camperships Provided - Thanks to grants from the City of Toledo and others, nearly $40,000 was provided to 360 youth in the form of registration assistance and to attend Camp Miakonda and Pioneer Scout Reservation.*
Leadership Development
*Order of the Arrow, Tindeuchen Lodge • 103 new members joined, 16 members received Brotherhood Honor, 5 received Vigil Honor, and completed 939 hours of Cheerful Service.*
*National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) • Jun 4-9 • 48 Scouts attended, surpassing the Council Strategic Goal by 10%.*
National Jamboree 2023 - 26 Scouts and 8 adults attended the event at the Summit Bechtel Reserve.
High Adventure - 27 Scouts and 20 adults attended Philmont Scout Ranch and 23 Scouts and 15 adults attended Northern Tier High Adventure.
*Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) & Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) • 38 adults underwent Outdoor Skills training at Camp Miakonda to improve their leadership for Scouts.*
