2026 Northwest Klondike Derby - hosted by Troop 195

All Arrow of Light Dens, Scouts BSA Troops, and Venturing Crews are invited to come to historic Camp Miakoda for our annual Klondike Derby.  This year's theme is based on the prospectors of the Gold Rush!

All Patrols will compete against each other in 15 activity stations throughout the day on Saturday, February 21, to challenge their Scout Skills, teamwork, speed, and endurance. 

Awards will be presented to first and second place for each activity station in each of the three categories: Arrow of Light Patrol, New Scout Patrol, and Experienced Scout Patrol.  The coveted traveling trophies will also be up for grabs - The Square Knot, Scout Spirit, Sled Design, and Fastest Sled.  

Arrow of Light Scouts and their den leaders/parents are encouraged to spend the weekend camping with their host Troop.  Click here for Arrow of Light camping guidelines.

The registration fee is $12 per person.  There is not a discount for Arrow of Light Scouts, Den Leaders, or parents.

All lodging reservations for cabins, campsites, and Adirondacks must be made by email directly to Ellen Watkins at Ellen.Watkins@scouting.org.  Reservations must be submitted by January 23, 2026.
