Scoutreach District

Welcome

Thank you for visiting the Scoutreach District page, which serves primarily Lucas County of Erie Shores Council.

Overview

Scoutreach delivers special leadership skills and team-building emphasis to urban and rural Scouting programs by strengthening the BSA commitment to ensuring all youth have the opportunity to join Scouting.

Why Should You Join Scouting in Our Area?

The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating in citizenship, and develops personal fitness. We pride ourselves on the youth that participate in our community and feel that they help make Northwest Ohio a better place.

District Meetings

Every month, a group of dedicated volunteers donate time and resources to improve the Scouting program in Scoutreach District. The District Committee meeting occurs every 2nd Monday, from 5:30 pm-7:00 pm at Jadel Leadership Center, from September to April, annually.

The Program Specialists meet weeknight, during the program year at a local library.
