The Council Recognition Dinner will be held on April 22, 2027, at The Pinnacle in Maumee, Ohio.

This year, the Erie Shores Council is proud to bring together two long-standing traditions—the Scouting Youth Honors Banquet and the Scouter Recognition Dinner—into one special evening of celebration and recognition.

The Council Recognition Dinner honors the outstanding achievements of both Scouts and adult volunteers who exemplify the values of Scouting throughout Northwest Ohio.

During the evening, we celebrate Scouts who earned the Eagle Scout Award and Venturing Summit Award. We also recognize youth who have demonstrated exceptional character, leadership, and service through special honors earned in 2026, including, but not limited to, the Order of the Arrow Vigil Honor and the Venturing Leadership Award.

We also honor the dedicated adult volunteers who deliver the Scouting promise to more than 3,100 youth annually through exceptional leadership and service. Adult recognitions include the Silver Beaver Award, lifetime service and leadership awards, the Torch of Gold Award, James E. West Fellowships, and other notable honors.

By combining these two prestigious events, we are creating a unified celebration that highlights the impact Scouting has on youth, families, volunteers, and communities across the Erie Shores Council.

In addition to celebrating these remarkable accomplishments, the Council uses this event to raise funds that support youth and adult leader training, registration assistance programs, summer camperships, and other vital programs of the Erie Shores Council.
