
Miakonda Day Camp
Miakonda Day Camp is open to ALL youth going into 1st-5th grades. We are looking forward to another GREAT year of Day Camp on the grounds of historic Camp Miakonda, the land of the crescent moon. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2026!
Dates & Rates
Camp Sessions:
Choose from five exciting weeks
of Miakonda Day Camp!
Week 1: June 15 - 19, 2026
Week 2: June 22 - 26, 2026
Week 3 (Twilight Camp): June 29 - July 2, 2026
(Drop Off Time 4:30-5:00 PM/Pick Up Time 9:15 PM)
Week 4: July 6 - 10, 2026
Week 5: July 13 - 17, 2026
Drop Off Time: 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM
Pick Up Time: 4:15 PM* (Weeks 1, 2, 4, & 5)
*Campers are released with a guardian signature after the closing flag ceremony
Costs Per Week:
Every registration includes:
A unique Miakonda Day Camp T-shirt
An exclusive camp patch
Five days (four days during Twilight Camp) of unforgettable outdoor adventures and memories
Day Camp Fees (Weeks 1, 2, 4, & 5)
Early Bird (before June 1, 2026): $255 per youth
Regular Price (after June 1, 2026): $275 per youth
Twilight Camp Fees (Week 3)
Early Bird (before June 1, 2026): $105 per youth
Regular Price (after June 1, 2026): $115 per youth
**All rising 1st grade youth will need an adult partner with them each day of camp**
Discounts
Pack Attendance:
A Pack discount of $10 per Scout for Packs signing up 8 or more Scouts for Day Camp.
To Qualify:
1. Registrations must be paid on or before June 1.
2. Find at least 8 Cub Scouts to attend camp.
3. Work with your Pack Camping Coordinator to fill out the registration for each Camper using the Pack account at www.erieshorescouncil.org/cdc and add the registrations to the cart but do not check out. (Paper forms can be brought to the Iott Scout Shop if that is easier).
4. Collect the cost of Camp from each family or pack - $245
5. Visit the Iott Scout Shop with the list of Scouts and the total amount due (# of Scouts x $245) and pay the registration fees on or before June 1.
Popcorn Certificates:
Popcorn award certificates must be presented at the Iott Scout Shop before registering to have the awarded amount applied to your camp registration.
Additional Information
Camperships:
Financial assistance is available for Erie Shores Council Scouts who need help covering the cost of Miakonda Day Camp and other summer camp programs. If you have a Scout in your pack who could benefit from this assistance, please complete the online Campership application by April 11, 2026.
Annual Health and Medical Records:
All youth and adults attending or participating in Miakonda Day Camp must submit the required Scouting America Annual Health and Medical Record (Parts A & B). Forms are available online or at the Iott Scout Shop and may be submitted in advance by visiting the Iott Scout Shop.

**Your camper should wear proper footwear, such as gym shoes or hiking boots, with socks, or CLOSED TOED Sandals. ABSOLUTELY NO OPEN-TOED SANDALS, SHOWER SHOES, CROCS, OR FLIPFLOPS WILL BE PERMITTED. You will be asked to bring different shoes if your camper arrives in one of these types of footwear. They will not be permitted to participate until proper shoes arrive. This rule applies to adults in attendance as well.
Please make sure all items your camper brings to camp are labeled clearly with their name.
Please remember this is an outdoor camp with insects and poison ivy.
Family Night:
Family members are invited to join their camper for Family Night on each Thursday evening after Miakonda Day Camp! Explore camp together as your camper shows you their favorite activities, shares what they've learned, and gives you a tour of the places that made their week memorable.
What is Twilight Camp?
This special evening session of Miakonda Day Camp is the perfect opportunity for campers and their adult partners to share the adventure together! Join us June 29–July 2 from 5:00–9:00 PM for an exciting week of outdoor fun. Open to all rising 1st through 5th graders, and dinner is included each evening.
*All rising 1st graders must have an adult partner with them.
